Welcome to Cauldron & the Cupboard. We are a family own business run by myself and my sister. We have been practicing the craft for as long as we can remember.
Our family lineage runs deep and ancestrally we come from centuries and centuries of "witches". My mother and I were born in a small city in Tuscany, Italy. My father and sister were both born in New Jersey. Though my sister and I were brought up in the craft, my mother assured us that we should keep that part of our lives quiet from the rest of the world. After all, that is why we are still here!
One night, while consulting the tarot, we were blessed with a vision of what was to come. My sister and I would be opening up a shop and in doing so, we would be able to share our gifts and knowledge with our customers. That was so far-fetched to us since we always kept that part of our lives secrete. But, nonetheless, our journey began.
Our first store, The Cauldron, opened in 2005. It was an amazing venture. We were excited and touched at how accepting and welcoming the community was. Each day, as more and more customers came, we were blessed with the vast knowledge that they all shared with us about their own practices and experiences. It is truly amazing to have discovered how many people practice magick knowingly.
Though our shop became popular and successful in a very short time, due to family issues, we had to close our doors in 2008. But, we always knew that one day, we will be back and our adventure will begin anew. It came to us like a whirlwind: the perfect shop, the perfect place, the perfect opportunity, and so now we welcome you to our new and improved shop!
As time goes by, we aspire to excel and, like watching a child, our hope is that our company will blossom into adulthood. With the help of our wonderful friends and their devotion to the craft, our progression is truly overwhelming and heart-warming. It's these people that need to be recognized and thanked for their magnanimous efforts.
We would like to acknowledge and thank the total devotion of our customers. Without them there would be no us. From the customers who walked past our storefront when it was The Cauldron, to the devoted customers who used to "follow the yellow brick road" to come in every week to our new shop Cauldron & the Cupboard and give us insight on the positive results our products brought to their lives, and now to the ones who find us in our newest, bigger location - we will always be thankful and grateful. Your support and loyalty to us has not gone unnoticed or unappreciated -Thank you!
I would also like to thank my Sister for her support, foresight, creativity, wisdom and incredible patience. All those times I felt like giving up - she was the one who kept pushing me forward. At times she had more belief than I did - Thank you for being there and thank you for all those late night panic control phone calls, I love you!
On that note, I would like to close by thanking "the powers that be" for all your guidance and wisdom. Like a great recipe, without all the right ingredients - your final result would be less then inspiring.
